  • IS THIS THE END????
Posted at TWoP Forum....its suppose to be the summary of episode 12...??

    *Soulmusic:
"In the end Bette goes to New York to fetch Jodie. She's on a tractor (I'm so not kididng) with a "17 Reasons Why" sign in tow. You'll just have to see in three weeks, I guess, because I haven't a clue how to post caps and such.I'm rewatching to type it out for you all. Bette's pouring her heart out about Jodie to Tina and Tina just says, "Could you be any more self-serving." She then takes Bette's cell phone and starts typing a text to Jodie that says, "When I'm scared I micromanage, when I'm uncertain I overstate, when I'm challenged I belittle and lash out. And when I love someone I try to put her in a box." And then Tina asks if she should send it and she does. Then Tina tells her that she has to follow up with something romantic, ie, the sign that says "17 Reasons Why" on the back of the tractor. So weird. So sad. So dissappointing. Although, on Bette's way out of town they share a very small peck on the lips and Tina goes for more but it doesn't happen. The scene with Jodie and Bette (and the I-wish-it-weren't-true tractor scene] is not the last scene of the whole show. The complete ending has, god... I wish I didn't sound crazy posting this, but hell, I didn't write it --

Jenny on a life raft out in the middle of the ocean and Tasha and Alice laying on the beach holding each other. Tina does say she is doing this to make up for her mistake leaving Bette, and later on Bette calls her from bed in NY before going to see Jodie and says, "What should I say when I give her the sign?" and Tina says something along the lines of "Tell her you made a mistake and that you still love her," obviously speaking for herself (Tina).

The episode isn't all bummer, though. There's a pretty amazing scene between Shane and Paige that was adorable and pretty hot (if that's your thing), but again... If Kristinna Loken's not coming back, that's going to be one helluva hard storyline to explain ending. And, there's a totally weird and random surprise that's not Tibette-related, either, and I'm surprised people that have posted spoilers haven't mentioned it...

Again, you don't have to beleive me. There's lots of stuff going around. You've only got three more weeks of this before the TUDORRRRRRS, so enjoy as much as you can. I'm bummed, but yeah... I do love this wacky show. Even if it's totally not the way that live... And loooooooove. (insert tone deaf singing here)."

  • These spoiler are posted at ourchart.com....its suppose to be the summary of episode 12...??

"Tina and Jenny go head to head. Jenny secertly decides to back out of her contract with Shaolin so Kate slips fake contract documents under some papers Jenny needs to sign for her final contract. But really she just signed over all creative control to Tina and Kate. Jenny finds out about it and tries to crash the meeting but the writing is in print. Jenny no longer has creative control over Lez Girls. Kate celebrates by taking Tina out for a drink. She lets Tina know she wants to sleep with her but Tina gently turns her down with a sweet little kiss.

Phyllis files for divorce from her husband and gets Joyce to be her lawyer. Joyce and Phyllis share a steamy kiss.

Tasha and Alice have good bye sex. It's sad because Tasha is going back to Iraq.

Paige decides to come out to Jared and Shane has a surprise for Paige, she has brought a house for the three of them.

Bette is drinking and calls Tina to come over she is upset about Jodi leaving her for upstate new york and that's when Tina tells her that she wants her and she loves her with all her heart. Bette looks surprised and then Tina grabs Bette into a steamy kiss which leads to sex. The final shot pans from Bette's bed of them sleeping and the telephone ringing with Jodi Lerner's name on the caller Id.

My friend got a hold of the second half of the screeners and we are in for a treat. In episode 12 Tina and Bette definitely have sex. It was hot. I needed to smoke a ciggy afterwards. The way Tina threw Bette down in the bed and ripped her shirt off hot hot. Bette also got her back licked up and down. Bette was sitting on top of Tina and Tina was working it. Hot. Can't wait for you guys to see it. The best 5min 36sec according to my dvd timer ever. "

  • // REVIEW // (16. DEZ. 2006)

  • Review: macfinn @ TWoP Forum

    [4]
Just finished watching the episodes 404 - 407 and Get ready girls - you are in for a TREAT!
The show has hit it's stride!
The episodes are fast, fun, sexy, witty and smart. The girls are TERRIFIC and have pulled out all the stops! All the things I wondered about really work! - Cybil Shepard is very funny, Marlee Matlin and Bette are HOT, (JB is really a wonderful actress). The silly scenes, like the basketball game really are laugh out loud funny! There are some soapy/crappy tv sitcom style things - but they are FAR outweighed by the stuff that really works. Even the music moves everything along in a far more intense and unusual way than past seasons. There is actually some character development, and the new cast members, in particular Tasha - who we haven't seen a lot of yet, are really
quite good. Papi is a caricature, but she's great. Once again, although a lot looser, Jenny is the real sicko
of the group, and this is getting serious. It was SO MUCH FUN - We were all WOWED by it!

    [1]
"Saw Epi 1 last night and it was great! The episode moves fast and is very soapy, but it was wonderful to see the girls! My only complaint is that they are all so dressed up and made up and bejeweled etc that
it makes you wonder where they're going. The appearance of Marina will make everyone remember what a wooden actress she is...she only says one or two lines and then smiles alot. There are some sillyish scenes where IC is trying to be "relevant", and indeed the awful themesong is intact -
Helena's story will be quite funny I think. Shane is once again on a downward spiral, looking drugged, beaten up and she is the one in the car wreck-I can't say her performance was very compelling Plus she looks almost anorexic, at the end of the episode her brother is left at her back doorTina is estranged from the group and is convinced they are backing away from her"
    [2]
"Okay - Just watched the 1st 3 episodes, and here is mho .
Light and frothy, funny, played for laughs - quick cuts back and forth between characters.
The woman straddling Bette in the car is Nadia her outrageously flirtacious asst. It's very silly. Bette will go on to tell her afterwards that it will not happen again.

The show is fun - so far very little angst, which is a relief.
Papi is being played as a type. Over the top - she is arresting, but so far it's kind of a goof, and they have a funny imagined show down between Papi and Shane - again, for laughs.

Then there are alot of subplots starting -
    Shane and Shay.
Mia plays Jenny's obsession with a critic who betrayed with confident big wide strokes - I felt she was
terrific, and I think people might see her differently this year.
Bette who is once again in charge - with a boss who's coming out, & is still upset about Tina.
Tina who is trying to blend her friends into her new life, and doesn't look too good in it herself.
The party she has as a "mixer" is diasterous.
Alice who's going out with Bette's boss, and seems up for anything.
Helena who's learning to live without money,
Kit with her abortion & boyfriend, and of course, last and certasinly least
Max,a wooden, clueless, teenage nerd who looks dazed throughout, dating his boss's daughter

Sure it's cheesy in places, and sometimes they're laughing at themselves - but it is also a really charming way to get back into these characters lives before the meaty stories really start - All the girls shine.
    I think they're wonderful.

My only complaint, since I'm so glad to see them back, is that they are so
overly made up, with heavy eye shadow and lashes & so often dressed in evening
wear that I find myself wondering if they're going to a Ball or something - after the show!"

    [3]
"first of all the assistant doesn't look like Tina, although she is blond. She is completely in appropriate and Bette tries to keep her in check but her constant flattery finally gets to B.The sex in the car is 2 sec. They both just grab each other's faces and start smooching. I did not find it very
    sexy - sorry.
Bette has not met Jody at this point. At the very beginning of the show Bette is on the lam with the baby and you see all the girls in another hotel room leaving her a message of support on the phone, trying to convince her to come back but telling her they're on her side. Tina burst in screaming. Bette is on the phone with Joyce Wishnia and then you see them both in her office with the baby. Joyce convinces them that a custody hearing would be a a media circus, so they work something out.

psTina keeps her job at the movie studio, and is told to fire Helena - which she does. Helena looks for a job, Shane hires her and she is hopeless...I think what happens is that she begins a catering business eventually.
Jenny is having the first reading of her book at the Planet, where else, and that's where Marina shows up and steals the show. Tina mostly looks angry all the time, in her evening wear."

  • // 'The same procedure as every year, Ms. Chaiken!' // (09. OKT. 2006)

Matlin, who has already begun filming episodes, says she didn't worry about the show's lesbian plotlines or its racy sex scenes. What gave her brief pause was the thought of kissing Beals, but only because she was a long-time friend. The pair first met in 1987 on a flight to Paramount's 75th anniversary. Beals even helped Matlin get ready the night she won her Oscar.

"We had a lot of fun and we kept in touch all these years," she said. "And I spent my birthday in bed with Jennifer Beals!"

    • Alice & Phyllis

How would you describe Jenny Schecter, your character on the TV show The L Word, and what can we expect from her next?

She's very mischievous and tricky. And this season she becomes extremely successful, gets a novel published in New York.

"Do you really want to know what's gonna happen next season? I can help you with the first 5 episodes only, for now.

IIRC everything that was posted on the boards about the first episode is correct. And yes Angelica is played by the cute Olivia which given how big she is now didn't help much and they keep trying to make her look a few month younger while filming the first couple of episodes in which Laurel filmed in Texas. Watch out for some powerful Tina scenes in the second episode when she confronts her family and herself about who she is and Angelica's biraciality. By the end of the episode she'll decide to go back to Weho and face her previous life on her own, that will be Tina's journey this season.

Bette is angry and a hypocrite in the first couple of episodes, and she is NOT her alpha self again, but she's just an *** to her students and her friends which makes them try to avoid her and avoid her temper since she seems to load it on everyone who doesn't agree with whatever she says. But once she meets Jodie who puts her in her place Bette goes back to her old self, but tries her best not to show it to Jodie because they will be having some kind of a subtle competition between them. Jodie's character is here to STAY, it's planned that she and Bette will hook up in the LAST episode, IC doesn't want to rush it. But that might change because the second part of the season's scripts are not fully written yet.

Something to look forward to this season are the comic moments between Alice, Helena and CS's character. Alice and Helena will have a moment but it's played for laughs, it goes something like "You and I a couple? oh right" then silence and they both will stare at each other for a moment before they revert their eyes with Helena saying "Eeww no no no" and "Bad idea bad idea.." being repeated by Alice as she leaves the room with a disgust look.
By episode 5 Helena and Tina, after spending too much time together, become too close, and Helena's feelings for Tina will surface again.

Alice will be against the dating idea 'till she meets Tasha who makes her look at life in a different way for the first time after Dana's death. Then Alice will find herself torn between her own friend Shane and Tasha's gang which includes Papi, who is a very interesting character and maybe the best addition this season. And just if you were wondering it's Shane who starts the whole competition thing between her and Papi once she finds out that she and Carmen were involved but that happens while she's on drugs, which she regrets later.

Max will still be trying to go through the surgery but starts having second thoughts about it once he falls deep for his new gf whom is scared that she might lose him during the surgery. Jenny is still supportive of him and a main part of her storyline this season will be to help Max and Shane get through the messes they cause."

  • // Drehbericht // (09. Aug 2006)

  • "On July 5th and 6th, the L Word was filming at the PNE/Playland basketball courts and skateboard park (Hastings St), in Vancouver.

The scene they filmed at the basketball courts was quite lengthy. In as best as I can remember, the scene went as follows...

Some girls (and "Papi") are hanging out at the basketball court getting warmed up. Then "Papi" looks up and sees the main L Word girls coming. Jenny, Shane, Alice, Bette, Kit and Helena are seen walking towards the basketball courts wearing ridiculously dorky basketball outfits. They all have jerseys on with their last names on the back. Behind them, Moira/Max and Shane's little brother Shay walk towards the skateboard park.
The L Word girls face off with "Papi's" crew. Before they begin the game, Tina jogs up to them, and Helena gives her a kiss on the cheek. Bette seems very sarcastic and tense toward Tina, and the tension is finally averted by "Papi" who yells something to the effect of "You can play on our team because we don't care who you ****!" They begin to play basketball, with Shane and "Papi" facing off for the jump-off at the start of the game. ..." Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
